Before LASIK Surgery
Your doctor will perform a thorough eye exam to ensure that your eyes are healthy enough for the procedure.
Evaluation Includes:
- Shape and thickness of your cornea
- Pupil size assessment

- Pre-existing eye conditions
- Eye moisture levels

During LASIK Surgery

- A lid speculum keeps your eyelids open
- Surgeon marks the cornea with an ink marker
- Suction ring prevents eye movement
- Computer adjusts laser for your prescription

After LASIK Surgery
Upon completion of your LASIK surgery, your surgeon will request you to rest for some time.

Recovery Guidelines:
- May return to work next day
- Rest for a couple of days recommended
- Avoid strenuous exercise for one week
